Global News by T-Rex Paddock Staff An aspiring, young Canadian paleontologist, Nathan Hrushkin, has made what one expert in the field has described it as filling "a gap in the knowledge of dinosaur evolution. The 12 year old student from Calgary encountered this rare find earlier this year in Horseshoe Canyon, which is in the Badlands region of Alberta. Globe News The young scientist was on a hike with his dad in June this year and spotted the fossil jutting out of the ground. He took pictures and contacted the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller Alberta. Dr. Therrien, the curator of the museum, responded to their email and notified them that they had found the fossilized remains of a young Hadrosaur.
